Aloha! I’m Shelly Johnson, one of the founders of Aloha Hemp with my husband Clint, and a certified holistic health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN).     
 
The beginning of the year is a time when many of us make health goals that may or may not get accomplished. Let’s start fresh this year to restart and revitalize our mind and body.
 
 
At some point in our lives we all get out of balance. Let’s face it, most of us don’t even have time for reflection. Right now I’m telling you to PAUSE…
We’re too busy living life to take time to focus because we have families, careers, and responsibilities. Basically, life gets in the way of optimizing life. 
But give yourself that time now, in this very moment.
 

Key areas of life

So, what is “balance”? 
Balance can be so unique for each individual and can change overtime. Most importantly, what may feel balanced for one person may feel stressful for another person.  
 

Circle of Life Exercise:

 
The Circle of Life exercise will help you clarify priorities for goal setting this year so that you can plan according to your personal definition of balance.  
 
What excites you in your daily life?
What fuels you to keep moving ahead? 
Lets help you discover which areas in your life you might be missing something. You will look at your overall “circle” and determine where you need to balance so that you are more satisfied in those unbalanced areas.  
 
Most importantly, don’t think about where you want to be or who you should be.  
This is about you and at this time in your life.
 

Circle of Life Assessment:

Place a dot on the hashmark that indicates your level of satisfaction in each area using a scale of 1 to 10.  One is near the core of the circle and indicates dissatisfaction, 10 is towards the edge and means you feel great about that area. For example, if your social life is really abundant, place a dot somewhere towards the outer edge of the circle. Connect the dots to see what your Circle of Life looks like.
 
Take some time to reflect on the different areas. Are their areas where the circle dips in either direction? How do you feel about your life as you reflect on the areas?  
 
As you work through the assessment and the weeks of guidance to come, think about: what would a balanced circle look like to you for 2020 and beyond?

We were so excited to get in a new testimony experience from a beautiful, sweet mama of 3 here on the Big Island. . Here is @galinarintcina experience... I was skeptical about CBD oil at first. I had negative experience when I tried weed in my 20s and didn't want to experience that ever again. Shelly and Clint were so passionate and positive about @alohahempcbd oil, I decided to give it a try. I took about half a dropper of 500 mg Aloha Hemp CBD two times a day for about a month and I am still taking 750 mg CBD. Again, I did not have any expectations and was skeptical about it. Here are the results of my experiment. 1. Aloha Hemp CBD is nothing like weed I tried years ago. It does not have an effect on my consciousness, ability to live my normal life. 2. It tastes great! 3. I currently go through a lot of stress in my life as a new single mom of 3 small children. I moved across the ocean (twice in the last few months!), I am looking for a new source of income. Stress and anxiety for the future make my life much harder because it takes a lot of my energy. After I started taking CBD oil, the next morning my stress level reduced significantly! I could plan, think about future, face everyday challenges and stay calm, centered, connected and happy! At the same time, I could still think very clearly, make decisions, live very active life without feeling sleepy or unfocused! 4. I did take things easy and not care about things I cared so much before, but I still met deadlines, paid bills, did all the things on the schedule. I got to enjoy my kids and life more, it felt amazing. 5. It was much easier to handle motherhood stress, be positive and patient with kids. 6. I gave a few drops of CBD oil to my children at night time for a couple of times and they were noticeably more relaxed the next morning! My 7 year old's cough stopped one night after a few drops of CBD oil and he could fall asleep. After a month of taking CBD oil I stopped taking it and the effect lasted for quite some time! I started taking 750 mg oil twice a day after that and I again had a noticeable stress relief right away without any other symptoms.
