  • 1/2 inch of ginger, peeled
  • 1/2 of a full dropper of Aloha Hemp CBD (choose your flavor!)

Instructions~

  1. Add all ingredients except Aloha Hemp CBD to a high-powered blender and blend for 30-60 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into a glass, add 1/2 of a full dropper of Aloha Hemp CBD and stir.

Adding CBD to your smoothies can add an extra BOOST to your body.  CBD is beneficial in helping the body absorb the nutrients and bring it to balance.  In addition, CBD helps cleanse toxins, heavy metals, and pathogens out of the body.

CBD for pets is one of many natural approaches to help your furry friend. Though, you may be wondering if CBD is a completely ‘safe’ option for your pet. Read below, about the ‘How’s and Why’s’ CBD is a great option for any pet!

Endocannabinoid System and CBD
Firstly, it is important to consider how the endocannabinoid system, that exists in the human body, works. The endocannabiniod system not only exists in our bodies, but within all mammals, birds, reptiles and fish, too. It has been knows as “the most important physiologic system involved in establishing and maintaining human health.” Most health challenges and illnesses are now being attributed to a endocannabinoid deficiency. Excitingly, these health challenges can be treated with CBD.

Will my pet get a ‘High’ from Hemp CBD?
Funny enough, when people think of CBD for pets, they may have the image of giving a dog or cat a ‘joint’ to smoke. The ‘High’ affect is from large amounts of THC. Contrary to popular belief (and fear), CBD is not capable of giving you nor your pet any ‘high’ symptoms. Because, Hemp CBD has a very low THC amount (.3% or less) not allowing any mind altering symptoms.

Actually, it’s the recreational cannabis that contains THC, the compound responsible for the ‘high’ and mind-altering effects users feel from smoking marijuana.

Also, it’s important to find a CBD for your pet that originates from agricultural or medicinal hemp. Cannabis plants are cultivated for their rich content of CBD and other cannabinoids, with very little to NO-THC. Hemp CBD oil is non-psychotropic, which means it doesn’t affect the mind, emotions or behavior of an individual. In order for Hemp CBD to be legal, it must contain less than 0.3% THC (which is far, far below the amount needed to induce mind-altering effects). Read more on our blog...
