The Ultimate Guide to Using CBD Tinctures

The Ultimate Guide to Using CBD Tinctures

CBD tinctures have been the BIGGEST BOOM of 2019. Therefore, many people have been inspired to begin to use CBD oil.

Are you new to CBD tinctures? If you are, you can get all your questions answered here.  If you don’t see an answer to your question, ask below or contact Aloha Hemp.

The CBD industry is new and constantly adding new research, technology, and studies daily. Therefore, this information could be overwhelming. Let’s start with the basics below.

What is a Tincture?

A tincture is an extraction made from ANY type of plants and removes the most valuable compound. Tinctures require a carrier to transport.  For instance, plant-based oil is the most common. Tinctures are typically used for oral treatments.  They can be found and bought in stores or online.

What is a CBD Tincture?

CBD is one of nearly 80 Phytocannabinoids found in the cannabis sativa plant.  Most importantly, CBD does not provide the psychoactive symptoms triggered by THC.

In conclusion, CBD tinctures are one of the most popular and safest ways to take CBD.

Three Different Extraction Methods…

  1. The first extraction method is through a cold press. A cold press method essentially grinds the seeds to produce a hemp oil.  In addition, this process is low in its CBD content.
  2. The next extraction is through either ethanol or olive oil. This method ensures a healthy cannabinoid content. However, ethanol contains chlorophyl and can taste strong. Olive oil is a better tasting alternative, but cannot be concentrated.
  3. One of the most popular extraction options is through a supercritical CO2 extraction. This produces a clean, concentrated final product with a full spectrum of cannabinoids. However, this process can be very expensive to use.
  4. One of the best methods is through a Rosin Press, used by Aloha Hemp CBD. This press only uses dried hemp. In addition, there are no other fillers added. This is by far one of the most potent and clean methods!  Most importantly, this ensures for maximum benefits.

Why are CBD Tinctures Popular?

CBD is popular because it is safe to use for almost anyone. Which means, it is safe for children, working professionals, seniors and even your family pet.  Above all, it does not cause the sensation of being ‘high.’  In addition, CBD has no side effects.  Studies have shown it to be impossible to overdose with. The primary reported side effect is the way it triggers a sensation of calm and relaxation.

A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. First things first, not all CBD brands are created equal.  However, some brands have different extraction methods and different strengths.  A lot of brands have fillers in their tinctures.  Synthetic fillers are not healthy for our bodies. So, before choosing a brand to trust, do some research ahead of time.
  2. A good rule of thumb is to start low and slowly increase drops until the desired results are met.
  3. CBD does have a shelf life of about 2-years. Always ensure to follow the proper storage instructions.  In addition, look for brands that are sold in dark glass dropper bottles.  Dark bottles will prolong the lifespan.
  4. When the CBD tincture sits overtime, it will likely settle to the bottom. Before use, shake well to ensure the cannabinoids are thoroughly mixed.
  5. Squeeze the pipette slowly. Allow it to fill with the appropriate dose. Make sure to listen to your body and what amount of drops is best!
  6. Squeeze the liquid into your mouth in order to receive the full benefit.  It’s important to hold the drops under your tongue for 30-60 seconds.  Look for a brand that has High-Quality Organic flavored CBD tinctures.
  7. Repeat as needed throughout the day.

For any first-time users, the results can vary. It’s important to start small.  It is best to gradually increase in drops. Be sure to be patient as you find your personal dose. In conclusion, it is suggested to pay attention to any symptoms.

Fake CBD….What is it?
The buzz is all around about CBD! Yet most people have no idea if they have a “Fake CBD” that could be causing more harm than good.
CBD oil is meant to be a healthier, more convenient, and more concentrated source of cannabinoids. However, there is growing concern surrounding this type of industry. There are guidelines a consumer needs to be know when it comes to fake CBD and poor quality cannabis oil.
What Exactly is in Hemp (CBD) Oil Concentrate?
Firstly, hemp (CBD) concentrates contain the amounts of beneficial chemicals claimed. When using a substance that has no psychoactive effects, as is the case with hemp and CBD oil, it can be hard for a person to tell if the concentrate is working for them. In addition, many companies have been selling CBD oil labeled as hemp oil to avoid getting in legal trouble. Just take a search on Amazon to find these results. You will not find a single one specifying the actual cannabinoid content of their hemp oil. It’s important to note that these are CBD oil with no actual labeling of the cannabinoids present. In addition, there is often no testing, so the customer has no idea what they are truly consuming.

Most of us feel bombarded with social media, endless emails, scrolling on Facebook and Instagram...Am I right?!!
🌸
Sometimes we feel so out of touch with ourselves and what we truly desire.

No wonder we feel so anxious, anxiety, stressed and depressed.
🌸
Let’s be reminded that this moment in time we should set a plan to get out and move our body...or just meditate and do some stretching in nature.
🌸.
The healing is within us and what we are looking for externally is within our being, to become connected with ourselves and what we truly crave and desire.
🌸.
I’ve set a goal each morning to wake up between 4:30-5am. I get on my exercise clothes. I drink some lemon 🍋 water. Stretch. Put on some of my @alohahempcbd on my face to wake me up and feel refreshed. I turn on some soothing tropical music and do some work on my Aloha Hemp business and my plant based programs. At 6am, I put on my #barefootrunning shoes and take my puppy socks out for a run as the sun rises. I come back, stretch, shower, get on farm clothes and make celery juice and smoothies as my kids wake up around 7am.
🌸.
Going to bed by 9pm and waking up early has been the best decision I’ve made. I love having some quite time by myself as I don’t get that often with 4 homeschooled kids. Last week I was freeing some past traumas that’s been holding my back and this new routine has helped bring me back to feeling my best.
🌸
Do you need a new morning routine to help you feel your best? Does your morning routine look like mine at all or what does it look like? Would love your feedback 🌸💕Happy NEW WEEK!
